About The Position

Springhill Village is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Weekend Option. The nurse develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and respectful interpersonal communication. The nurse manages medications, conducts thorough assessments, documents changes in residents’ conditions, and demonstrates the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
