About The Position

Timbers of Jasper is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Weekend Option. The role offers an additional $4 for Weekend Option nights. Nurses develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position emphasizes supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, respectful communication, and excellent senior care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
