Contract Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit
About The Position
InterHealth Staffing, a for-profit staffing division of TGH, is hiring a contract Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. InterHealth Staffing provides positions ranging from permanent clinical float roles to seasonal 13-week assignments. The nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and coordinates nursing care according to established clinical nursing practices and collaborates with other professional disciplines to support effective, efficient care and desired patient outcomes. The nurse must be able to work on any unit within the assigned division and may be required to float between the Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of related work experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, which must be maintained.
- Ability to work on any unit within the assigned division.
- Work three shifts per week.
- Work every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Work on any unit within the assigned division.
- Float to other units at the Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses as needed.
