About The Position

InterHealth Staffing, the for-profit staffing division of TGH, provides patient care positions ranging from permanent clinical float roles to seasonal 13-week assignments. Tampa General is a safety net hospital committed to providing world-class, compassionate health care. The Registered Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation; directs and coordinates nursing care according to established clinical practices; and collaborates with other professional disciplines to support effective care delivery and desired patient outcomes.

This role is in the Progressive Care Unit. The nurse must be able to work on any unit within the assigned division and may be required to float to other units at both the Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses. The schedule requires three shifts per week and every other weekend.

Requirements

• At least two years of related work experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, which must be maintained.
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, which must be maintained.
• Ability to work on any unit within the assigned division.
• Work three shifts per week and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to support effective and efficient patient care and desired patient outcomes.
• Work on any unit within the assigned division and float to other units at the Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses as needed.
