Registered Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit
About The Position
The Registered Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates nursing plans of patient care and implements medical plans of care in collaboration with all disciplines. This role is based in the advanced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the third floor of Pottstown Hospital. The unit has 42 private and semi-private rooms and cares for patients with complex medical conditions, including orthopedic conditions, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, diabetic ketoacidosis, and sepsis. The team emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, patient advocacy, and safe, compassionate, high-quality care while supporting professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Complete and maintain all competencies and trainings required for the role.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
