About The Position
The Registered Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. This role is in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Pottstown Hospital, a 42-room unit caring for patients with complex medical conditions, including orthopedic needs, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, diabetic ketoacidosis, and sepsis. The team emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, patient advocacy, and safe, compassionate, high-quality care while supporting professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Complete and maintain all competencies and trainings required for the role.
- PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
