Registered Nurse / RN Endoscopy
About The Position
Join the Endoscopy Lab B team at Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a day-shift, PRN Registered Nurse. The RN is responsible and accountable for professional nursing practice, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN. The nurse may serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Lovelace Women’s Hospital has a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the state’s first robotic surgery program, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
- Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- The department may also require ACLS and/or PALS.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in a specialty.
- Two years of general nursing experience.
