Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy
About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Endoscopy Unit. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts. Shifts vary and cover unit hours from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role includes on-call requirements at night, on weekends, and on holidays. The Perioperative Services Team at Inova Loudoun Hospital supports eight operating rooms, one procedure room, and two endoscopy suites. The facility has 16 private preoperative rooms and 14 post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) bays. The hospital provides surgical services in trauma, general, breast, colon-rectal, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, neurosurgery, ENT, vascular, thoracic, maxillofacial, and plastic surgery.
Requirements
- At least one year of direct Operating Room (OR), Endoscopy, or PACU experience as a Registered Nurse.
- For PACU nurses, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
- A current RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS healthcare provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- A BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Nurses with an Associate’s Degree (ADN) must complete a BSN within five years of their start date.
