About The Position
National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Endoscopy team. The RN provides compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, working with a collaborative healthcare team to assess and prepare patients, monitor their conditions, deliver nursing care throughout procedures and recovery, and support patient comfort and safety. The role offers an opportunity to strengthen procedural nursing skills in a team-focused environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
- Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
