Registered Nurse - Baird 4 - General Medicine
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works on Baird 4, a General Medicine Unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center’s Main Campus in Burlington, Vermont. Baird 4 cares for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs, including respiratory disease, renal and dialysis needs, diabetes, wounds, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious diseases. It is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent adults. This is a part-time, regular position with 20 standard hours per week and 40 biweekly scheduled hours. The evening shift is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with every-other-weekend work. On-call is not required. This is a bargaining union position.
