About The Position
The Registered Nurse position is in the General Medicine department on Baird 4 at the University of Vermont Medical Center’s Main Campus in Burlington, Vermont. Baird 4 is one of three General Medicine units and cares for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs, including respiratory disease, renal and dialysis needs, diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious disease. It is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for adults who are tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent. This is a part-time bargaining union position. On-call work is not required.
