About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to all patient populations in the department and uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care. The nurse maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice and is accountable for outcomes of nursing care. The role also guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel and contributes to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.

This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position at Evanston Hospital, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of prior nursing experience.

• BSN degree preferred.
