Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Stepdown - Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to patients. The RN coordinates the patient experience and integrates care using the nursing process. The RN directs patient-focused care according to established standards for safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimal level of care. This is a per-diem, seasonal night-shift position in Surgical Stepdown. The role requires Florida RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS and basic EKG interpretation are additionally required for telemetry and higher-acuity units.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualifying for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher-acuity units, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association and basic EKG interpretation are required.

Responsibilities
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
