Requirements
- Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within one (1) year
- Must be able to perform essential job functions
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance
- Satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions, identify needs and determine appropriate nursing interventions
- Guide and support nursing staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality care
- Monitor the unit to maintain a safe and therapeutic space for all patients
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards
- Assist patients with daily living tasks and participate in therapeutic interactions
- Document care activities and share important updates with the treatment team
