Requirements
- Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within one (1) year
- Must be able to perform essential job functions
- Satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening
- Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance

- If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the physical, mental, and emotional status of consumers
- Develop and adjust treatment plans using nursing standards and facility guidelines
- Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment
- Work with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and share important observations
- Follow crisis prevention, infection control, and safety procedures in all care settings
- Provide direction, support, and education to assigned personnel
