The Department of Human Services, Danville State Hospital is looking for dedicated individuals to work in our facility. Requirements

• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening test.
• A conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with personal care routines and activities of daily living
• Record observations and report changes in consumer conditions
• Help consumers move safely, including positioning, walking, and transfers
• Support consumers during activities, appointments, and therapeutic programs
• Follow proper procedures for emergencies, equipment use, and infection control
• Document information clearly and share updates with the care team
