About The Position

The Nurse Manager plans, organizes, staffs, and directs patient care on a daily operational basis in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. The role operates under the direction of the Department Director and follows the organization’s standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Requirements

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current license to practice in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of two years of recent and relevant clinical experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities or potential.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Nice To Haves

• Professional certification preferred.
• ACLS healthcare provider training, if applicable, such as in the Emergency Department or ICU.
