About The Position

The Server welcomes guests and provides attentive service throughout their visit. The role involves accurately taking orders, clearly communicating them to the kitchen, and promptly delivering food and beverages. Servers use upselling skills and menu knowledge to recommend specials, combos, and popular items, ask guiding questions to help guests choose, and invite them to join the Denny’s Rewards Program. The position also includes maintaining a clean and organized dining room, processing cash, card, and digital payments, and collaborating with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, front-of-house staff member, or in customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence in upselling, making menu recommendations, and engaging with guests.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
