Registered Nurse - Hospice House
About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospice House is seeking a full-time night Registered Nurse to care for an end-of-life patient population. The nurse is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and providing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. The role coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to support optimal patient outcomes. The clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Applicants must hold a compact or Missouri and Kansas nursing license.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Family Care Safety Registry requirement through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.
- Associate degree.
- Compact nursing license or licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
- Ability to care for an end-of-life patient population.
