About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospice House is seeking a part-time day Registered Nurse to care for an end-of-life patient population. The nurse uses the nursing process to provide patient care, delegate care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff. The nurse coordinates care plans for assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team as needed to support optimal patient outcomes. The clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and follows applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in Missouri or Kansas, or a compact license.
• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
• Associate degree.
• Family Care Safety Registry requirement through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process.
• Perform patient care.
• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to support optimal patient outcomes.
