About The Position

Vancrest is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide resident care and help promote resident satisfaction. The RN serves as a working leader, implementing resident care plans and providing direct nursing services. Wages depend on experience and are determined by the hiring manager at an interview. The role requires working every other weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Nursing license required.
• Must be able to work every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident care plans.
• Provide direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegate appropriate components of care plans to nursing assistants and provide guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consult and validate data.
• Record pertinent information in patient records.
• Identify and evaluate residents’ responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicate residents’ care needs to others involved in their care.
• Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
