About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for all nursing care provided to assigned patients. The RN carries out orders from the medical practitioner and promptly communicates any barriers to providing service to their supervisor and attending medical practitioner. The RN delegates and supervises the implementation of specific tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.

(CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency with programs throughout Arizona, including residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services. CBI provides prevention, education, and treatment for people experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness, using evidence-based models.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure from the Arizona Board of Nursing or a Compact state, in good standing.
• Valid identification.
• For Pool RN positions: valid Arizona driver’s license in good standing.
• For Pool RN positions: clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Healthcare-related experience providing adequate exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Carry out orders from the medical practitioner.
