About The Position
Vancrest is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to residents and contribute to resident satisfaction. The role is offered as a full-time first shift (6 a.m.–6 p.m.) or third shift (6 p.m.–6 a.m.), three days a week, including every other weekend. Starting wages range from $30 to $40 depending on experience, with final rates determined by the hiring manager at an interview. Third shift receives an additional $2 differential. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered. The RN works as a leader in overseeing and implementing resident care plans, providing direct nursing services, and coordinating resident care with others involved. The role requires a nursing license.

Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee resident care plans.
- Provide direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Delegate appropriate components of care plans to nursing assistants and provide guidance and supervision when needed.
- Consult with others and validate data.
- Record pertinent information in patient records.
- Identify and evaluate residents’ responses to health problems and treatments.
- Communicate residents’ care needs to others involved in their care.
- Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
