About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with an independent, nonprofit short-term acute care community hospital partner in Kerrville, Texas. The nurses will work in a specialty acute-care setting providing care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. The posting lists opportunities in the Cath Lab, ICU, Acute Rehab, Med/Surg, Surgical Services/Main Operating Room, Endoscopy, Women’s Services, and CDU, as well as Med/Surg Clinical Manager and Clinical Manager OR/Endoscopy roles. Available schedules vary by role and include days, nights, evenings, four 10-hour shifts, and 12-hour shifts; call is required for some positions. Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification; the posting also states ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves
- Active license in Texas or a compact state.
- One or more years of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
- New graduates are welcome with recent hospital experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
