About The Position
Vibra Permanent Staffing is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses for direct-hire, full-time positions with an independent, nonprofit short-term acute care community hospital partner in Kerrville, Texas. Nurses will join a specialty acute-care team providing care to high-acuity patients recovering from complex medical conditions. Day and night shifts are available across the listed roles. Openings include Cath Lab RN (four 10-hour shifts; call required), ICU RN (nights, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.), Acute Rehab RN (12-hour day and night shifts), Med/Surg RN (12-hour day and night shifts), Med/Surg RN Clinical Manager (full-time evenings), Surgical Services RN—Main Operating Room (full-time; call required), Endoscopy RN (full-time), Women’s Services RN (12-hour day and night shifts), CDU RN (12-hour day and night shifts), and Clinical Manager OR/Endoscopy (full-time). The role provides direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients. Nurses collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, document clinical findings, educate and advocate for patients and families, and comply with applicable policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Current, valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification; ACLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- Active license in Texas or a compact state.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience is strongly preferred.
- New graduates are welcome with recent hospital experience.
Responsibilities
