About The Position

Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is hiring Registered Nurses to deliver and direct patient care in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The RN works in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders, and helps ensure high-quality services in a customer-service-friendly environment. The role contributes to a positive resident experience through compassionate healthcare. Multiple shifts are available: 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Current, valid RN licensure.
Management or supervisory experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practice consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
Implement and evaluate care plans.
Identify and secure equipment and supplies.
Direct and oversee subordinate staff.
Participate in duty assignments.
Organize and coordinate subordinate staff, job tasks, and time allotments.
Oversee and monitor subordinate staff functions and activities.
Evaluate staff performance and take appropriate disciplinary or training action.
Monitor infection-control compliance.
Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
