About The Position
The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The role creates a positive customer service environment. This is a full-time Emergency Room position on the first shift, scheduled for 36 hours weekly in 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
- ADN.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patient needs.
- Implement appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations and the department's scope of service.
- Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision.
- Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
- Ensure nursing care interventions and activities are directed toward resolving problems.
- Perform technical aspects of care competently.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
- Create a positive customer service environment.
