About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Weekend Option at Lake Pointe Village, with nights available. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. Nurses use their clinical skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and contribute to a rewarding care experience. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
- Work with the team toward excellent care for residents.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
