About The Position

CentraCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Convenience Care at its new Urgent Care River Campus location, next to the Emergency Room, opening in February 2027. The RN works in a fast-paced environment as a member of the healthcare team, making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. The nurse provides evidence-based, age-appropriate care to patients and families, maintains practice competencies, and supports patient and workplace safety. The role primarily involves triaging symptom-based walk-in patients and serving as a liaison among providers, patients, and staff in the delivery of nursing care. The RN collaborates with other healthcare team members when assistance is needed. This is a part-time role scheduled for 48 hours every two weeks, with 12-hour shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Days vary every two weeks. The schedule includes every third weekend and rotating holidays. Pay is $41.46–$69.18 per hour, based on experience and degree. Starting rates listed are $41.46 per hour for an associate’s degree in nursing, $42.90 for a bachelor’s degree, and $44.33 for a master’s degree. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Associate degree in nursing or higher.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Minnesota.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card; it can be obtained internally upon hire.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to access patients’ medical records and physician orders and communicate information to patients and hospital staff.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
