About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Ware State Prison in Waycross, Georgia. The RN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. The role works under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
