About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services at Coastal State Prison in Port Wentworth, Georgia. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs. The position is scheduled for three day shifts per week, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. The stated salary range is $31–$36 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Appropriate and active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Respond to patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff.
