Registered Nurse (Gloucester)
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus, an in-home personal care agency, is seeking a PRN RN Supervisor to provide supervisory visits for non-skilled clients throughout the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas, including Gloucester, Williamsburg, New Kent, Mathews, and Hayes. The nurse may designate the area in which they provide visits, work as many hours as desired, and determine their own schedule. Supervisory visits are scheduled flexibly. Compensation listed: $65 per initial assessment; $55 per reassessment/6-month visit; $30 for a missed visit when the client is not home for a planned visit; $30 per in-service/class; $20 per aide orientation (rarely used, only when additional clinical training is needed for a case, such as Hoyer lift training with the caregiver in the home); and $20 per hour for office work. An additional $5 per assessment or visit is paid for clients located more than 30 miles from the agency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supervisory visits for non-skilled clients.
- Provide initial assessments and six-month reassessments.
- Conduct in-services/classes and, when needed, aide orientations involving additional clinical training.
- Provide visits in a designated service area within the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas.
