Registered Nurse - LDRP
About The Position
Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Care Team. The role provides care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and some gynecological patients. The nurse works independently and is accountable for using the nursing process, coordinating patient care with the multidisciplinary team, delegating tasks appropriately, and identifying hospital resources. The nurse also serves as a clinical resource for new employees and demonstrates formal or informal leadership within the unit or department. The position is full-time, 36 hours, on nights. The schedule includes four weekend shifts and two on-call shifts during each six-week schedule period.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and some GYN patients.
- Utilize the nursing process and be accountable for nursing practice.
- Coordinate care for a group of patients with the multidisciplinary team.
