About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Hickory Creek New Castle, you will build meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of residents and staff. You will use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, contributing to a rewarding care experience. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and respectful interpersonal communication. The schedule is a full-time weekend-option role with day, evening, and night shifts.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.

• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
