About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology team. The team performs advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures for adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Nurses rotate among pre-op, intra-op, and PACU responsibilities.

This is a full-time position with four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. Nurses participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One year of direct operating room experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. For PACU nurses, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an associate's degree. Nurses with an associate's degree must complete a BSN within five years of their start date.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of RN experience, including at least one year in Endoscopy, procedural care, PACU, ICU, or ED.

Responsibilities
