About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides patient care consistent with professional standards of practice and performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and Community Health Network’s mission and goals. The role manages care throughout the healthcare continuum to achieve optimal outcomes safely and cost-effectively, using collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management skills. The Maternity RN provides direct care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment.

Orientation and training may take place at multiple Community Health Network locations, including sites in Indianapolis, Anderson, and Kokomo. The position supports the network’s expansion to a new Westfield campus planned to open in Spring 2027. Candidates should be willing to learn and adapt, demonstrate clinical versatility, and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care wherever needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-, CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited school of nursing, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Hold a valid Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• RN experience in labor and delivery (L&D) is required.
• Be willing to learn and adapt, demonstrate clinical versatility, and contribute to a collaborative culture.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of RN experience in L&D.

Responsibilities
