About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Weekend Option Registered Nurse at Glenbrook. This day-shift nursing role provides care to residents in a skilled nursing community. The RN builds meaningful relationships by learning residents’ life stories and uses nursing skills to support their physical and psychosocial well-being. The role is supported by the company’s clinical standards and established care processes.

The nurse helps create a comforting, engaging atmosphere, promotes teamwork, collaborates with nursing and facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care, and maintains a respectful, positive work environment. A $4-per-hour shift differential is offered. Full-time and part-time benefits may vary and are subject to terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.

• Demonstrate supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
