Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Option - Maternity
About The Position
The Registered Nurse demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care throughout the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner, using collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource-management skills. In Maternity, the RN provides direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment. Orientation and training may occur at multiple Community Health Network locations, including sites in Indianapolis, Anderson, and Kokomo. Successful candidates are willing to learn and adapt, demonstrate clinical versatility, and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care wherever the need is greatest.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-, CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited school of nursing, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Have RN experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D).
