Registered Nurse - Adult/Pediatrics Homecare
About The Position
BAYADA’s Cape May-Atlantic County, New Jersey offices are seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for skilled nursing to provide compassionate, high-quality private duty care in clients’ homes. The role serves clients from infants to older adults, with needs ranging from low acuity to tracheostomy and ventilator care. BAYADA provides onboarding and extensive training to help nurses develop their skills and succeed on their cases. Nurses travel to one nearby client’s home for each scheduled shift and provide one-to-one care. Shifts may be 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours, with flexible scheduling and no minimum hours. Nurses have autonomy in the home and build relationships with clients while supporting their care and milestones. Pay is up to $42 per hour on a case-by-case basis, depending on qualifications.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-to-one skilled nursing care in the home.
