RN 2BCE Intermediate FT Days
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse for their 2BCE Intermediate unit. This position is 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7am to 7pm. A sign-on bonus is available for experienced applicants. The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, providing high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. The unit has nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses who work as an interdisciplinary team. The unit prides itself on teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
