RN 2BCE Intermediate PT Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2BCE Intermediate unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The unit provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses working as an interdisciplinary team. The unit aims to provide high-quality, patient-centric care and is known for its teamwork, clinical expertise, and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
