RN 2BCE Intermediate FT Days
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 2BCE Intermediate unit. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on day shifts (7 am-7 pm). The RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses. They work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient-centric care.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
Responsibilities
