Nursing Assistant 2BCE Intermediate FT Nights
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 2BCE Intermediate unit. This is a full-time position working 36 hours weekly on the night shift (7pm-7am). The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses working as an interdisciplinary team. The unit is building a reputation for teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
