RN Weekend Only Days 2BCE Intermediate
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2BCE Intermediate unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with a focus on Weekend Only Work (WOW) shifts, offering day hours (7am-7pm). The role involves direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet patient, family, and co-worker needs. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in intermediate nursing, caring for adult patients with complex medical needs. The unit maintains nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 and fosters a supportive, interdisciplinary team environment with both experienced and new graduate nurses.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
