About The Position

CentraCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for its new Urgent Care at River Campus location, opening February 2027. The RN works in a fast-paced urgent care environment as a member of the healthcare team, making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. The role provides evidence-based, age-appropriate care to patients and families, supports patient safety, maintains practice competencies, and collaborates with other healthcare team members when assistance is needed. The RN primarily triages symptom-based walk-in patients and serves as a liaison between providers, patients, and staff in delivering nursing care.

This is a full-time position scheduled for 72 hours every two weeks, with 12-hour shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Days vary every two weeks. The schedule includes every third weekend and rotating holidays. Pay is based on experience and degree, with a stated range of $41.46–$69.18 per hour. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the State of Minnesota.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card; it may be obtained internally upon hire.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage patient medical records and physician orders and communicate information to patients and hospital staff.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
