Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's & Children's Float Pool
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join its Women’s & Children’s Float Pool in Newark, Delaware. The RN will rotate among Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Inpatient Pediatrics. The role provides high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units to support safe and optimal outcomes for patients and families. ChristianaCare’s Women’s & Children’s services support more than 6,500 births annually and include a Level III NICU and a dedicated Pediatric Care Center. The position is full time, scheduled for 72 hours per pay period on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a holiday and weekend commitment.
Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of the hire date.
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care Women’s and Children’s services areas listed in the posting.
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware required.
- Flexibility to rotate across specialized clinical areas.
- Holiday and weekend commitment.
