Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's & Children's Float Pool - $20,000 Sign-on Bonus
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join its Women’s & Children’s Float Pool in Newark, Delaware. The RN rotates among Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Inpatient Pediatrics, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units to support safe outcomes for patients and families. The role is suited to a nurse who is flexible, thrives in a varied environment, and is passionate about maternal and pediatric health. Women’s & Children’s services support more than 6,500 births annually and include a Level III NICU and a dedicated Pediatric Care Center. This is a full-time position scheduled for 72 hours per pay period on 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with holiday and weekend commitments. The successful candidate may be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years.
Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of hire.
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute-care Women’s & Children’s services areas listed in the posting.
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware required.
- Flexibility to work across multiple specialized units and commitment to weekend and holiday coverage.
