Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift - $20,000 Sign-on Bonus
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join its Labor & Delivery team at the Newark Campus. The RN provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and their families, helping ensure optimal outcomes and a supportive, empowering birth experience. ChristianaCare supports more than 6,500 births each year and is committed to compassionate, respectful care and clinical excellence. The position offers cross-training in Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Obstetrics (OB), OB Peri-Operative Services, and Antenatal Care. After establishing experience in Labor & Delivery, the RN may also have the opportunity to develop skills in OBGYN Emergency. The role is full-time, with 72 hours per pay period on 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend and holiday commitment and an on-call rotation are required. The successful candidate may be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years. ChristianaCare is a nonprofit teaching health system headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. Its network includes outpatient and home health services, urgent care centers, three hospitals, a free-standing emergency department, a Level I trauma center, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and regional centers of excellence. Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of the hire date.
- Two years of acute care RN experience required.
- Delaware RN licensure or multistate RN licensure eligible in Delaware required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- RN experience in inpatient Women's & Children's, PACU, or Emergency Department areas is strongly preferred.
