About The Position
Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its progressive care unit team. The position is suited to positive, patient-centered nurses who enjoy teamwork and are passionate about helping others expand their skill sets. The organization aims to create kind, professional teams that treat one another as they would a patient. Saint Luke’s South is a Primary Stroke Center and STEMI receiving center serving Johnson County, Kansas, and surrounding communities. It is certified by The Joint Commission in orthopedic hip and knee joint replacement, and its maternity program earned the Kansas High 5 for Mom & Baby recognition for care supporting breastfeeding best practices. This is a full-time night-shift role, scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse.
- Associate degree.
- Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
