About The Position

Join Lovelace Women’s Hospital as a full-time, night-shift Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The RN is responsible and accountable for professional nursing practice, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN. The RN may serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice, and must follow policies, procedures, and regulations to support compliance and patient safety. Requirements

Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing.
Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Two years of experience in the specialty.
Two years of general nursing experience.
ACLS and/or PALS may also be required by the hiring department.

Responsibilities

Practice professional nursing, including providing patient care and managing staff assigned to the RN.
May serve as Charge Nurse and remain accountable for professional practice.
Follow policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
